Veena co-founded Black Linus Studios International LLP and Black Linus Clothing Company Private Limited with her brother, Sunil Kumar.

She spent more than fifteen years as an SAP trainer, leading sessions for professionals around the world. A personal transformation through strengths-based development then reshaped how she approached work, relationships and leadership. Today she is a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths coach and the founder of Winning Strengths, where she coaches individuals and organisations, from college students choosing a career to corporate leaders seeking high performance. Every engagement is tailored to the person's own strengths profile.

Away from coaching, Veena curates the sarees at Gaja Seere.

Sunil co-founded Black Linus Studios International LLP and Black Linus Clothing Company Private Limited with his sister, Veena Kumar.

He began his career as an advertising executive, selling ad spots on local television, before co-founding the production company. He wrote and directed an English-language play, staged in 2016, and wrote, directed and acted in the low-budget independent films Indian Laundry (2017) and Nalku Kallaru Ondhu Apaharana (2017).

Sunil leads the Black Linus Group as Creative Director.
